Arusha Serena Hotel

A former coffee plantation on the wooded slopes of Mount Meru, above Lake Duluti. Thatched stone cottages are arranged around gardens, and rooms look out over either the lake or the planting.

Canoeing on Lake Duluti, walks, and cycling through the coffee are all run from the hotel, and Arusha National Park and Mount Meru are both close. A sensible first or last night rather than somewhere to spend a week.
