Farm of Dreams Lodge

Cottages and garden rooms in the hills at Karatu, on the road between the parks. Each has a private bathroom with a hot shower, and either large windows or a balcony facing the gardens and the mountains behind.

Meals are cooked with ingredients bought locally and some grown in the lodge garden. There is a pool, a campfire in the evenings, and enough grounds to walk around. It is a stopover rather than a destination, and a good one.
