Ngorongoro Lion’s Paw

A tented camp on the eastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, looking straight down into it. Tents are roomy and en-suite, and the kitchen is better than the setting would lead you to expect.

The reason to stay here is the descent. Being on the rim means you can be on the crater floor early, which matters more than anything else about a Ngorongoro night.
